As an executive with significant governance experience as well as extensive training in governance best practices, Robert Bhatia can help organizations address issues they face and become more effective leaders and stewards.

Robert is experienced in addressing a wide range of governance issues.
• Led the creation and structuring of the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) including recruitment of the initial board of directors.
• Currently serves on the boards of the Local Authorities Pension Plan, Credit Union Central of Alberta and the Alberta General Insurance Council. Has served on seven other major boards and / or       audit committees.
• Delivered governance workshops to Boards.
• Holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D certification and has been an examiner for the Institute.
• Served as a Public Member on the City of Edmonton’s Audit Committee.
